This is looking like one of the top 'must have' games for the Wii. Im liking that not every game for the Wii has to have kiddy PG stuff in it.

Graphics luks great and from the pictures so does the violence! I cant wait to try out this game. Does any1 know that the game actually intends to come out this year?

RE4, One of the best games.. ever. Unlike most games, RE4 you can play over and over, unlike other games once you finish it, it goes back to the "never play again pile". I started playing RE4 a few weeks ago again on the GC. 2 Weeks later and i am running the game for the 4th time and still having a ball.

Oh lets not forget the extra 5 chapters with Ada

I doubt it'll be censored, look at the pic below, 18+. I think the original GameCube one was 15+, so why would they make the rating higher but remove the gore? That's what I think.

i bought the GC version off ebay practically a week before the wii version was announced. i wish i held out now...or maybe ill just have to buy the new one as well for the bonuses etc, cuz its such an awesome game!

updated graphics...no. watched a side by side comparison of the wii and gamecibe version. no difference at all

u guys esrb thingie looks different than ours, it just says rated m, which is 17 and older. any way i think the whole gore thing is only being censored for the japanese version

The gore is what makes Resident Evil fantastic that and the story lines, if you take the gore out of Resident Evil what do you have? It will be the same rating as the gamecube version MA 15+.

I was just at JB and picked up RE4 off the shelf to have a read of the back and another guy next to me did the same, looked at the price, exclaimed, "64$?! F_K yeah!" and looked at me as if for agreement before he walked off with the copy obviously intent on purchasing.

I laughed with him, not really intending to buy it but that pure excitement he had was contagious and I caught wind of it so I bought it as well.

Question: is it good? Oh well I'll soon find out tonight.

The gamecube version has what ada does on the island, this one has what she does through the whole game!, but yeh it is still all the same game other than thatand it using the wiimote, if yoiu really love it that much get it.

This game is awesome although I didn't find it to be at all scary, intense at times when there were so many enemies, but never scary. Doom 3 scared me though, that game got to the point where you in a room with a dead girl who dissapears while you hear a voice crying "help me" and an evil laughter in the background all the while enemies are creepin gup behind you and then dropping out of the roof...yeh that game was scary.

I too hated the RE's control scheme and then someone talked me into getting RE4. After playing RE4 though on the GC, I went backwards and got use to the controls (not that they are anything alike to RE4) and RE3 Nemesis and Zero are a couple of favs of mine. Nothing beats RE4 IMO though.

Anyway with the GC and Wii difference, there isn't a whole lot of difference when you are comparing previous RE's as a difference. The Wii version is a little easier IMO because you can just wave the Wiimote to slash people on the ground where you use to have to camera into them on the ground and then slash but to me playing it on the GC was better because it was the first time I played it and got use to it with so many first time memories. It's still heaps different than any other RE so far, with or without the Wii controls.

I think it's a much better game than MP3 so I don't know about a time waster until then

This is the greatest game ever.
I love everything about it.
The chapters, movies, ASHLEY <3, the graphics, blood, Shot gun, mine thrower, boss fights and most of all the story.
This is an amazing game go buy it!

I bought this game last week after hearing so much for so long and couldn't put it down, finished first time a few days later and now going through it with an infinite rocket launcher and doing Ada's side quests.

An absolute masterpiece of a game and easily up there with my favorites, and I've only clocked about 17 hours in the game so far.

I 'cardiovascular' Resident Evil: 4

i had this game on Gamecube and now I have it on Wii. And it still rocks! This is the one game I own that I always go back to whether it be one month later or 6!

This game has everything! 'Separate Ways' is also very awesome.

And the Wii-mote makes it all that much more fun!

I'm just playing the game now (hired from the local video store). I'm stunned at just how outstanding it is.

I played Resident Evil 1 on the PS years ago, always enjoyed the game but didn't like the control system or difficulty.

RE4 has excellent controls, great graphics, great cut-scenes and some really good voice talent...

I agree with you there on the Virtual Console idea. Goldeneye and Duke Nukem were two of my favourite N64 games.
