Dead Space 3 details reveal cover system and ammo

Dead Space 3, the second sequel in Visceral Games's sci-fi horror series, will feature an expanded new cover system and "universal" ammo, alluding to an action-orientated experience.

The game will also feature a new cooperative experience rather than a competitive multiplayer component like in Dead Space 2.

While the series has taken a more action-centric direction with Dead Space 2 following the initial survival-horror experience in the series's first game, Dead Space 3 will feature zero gravity sections and confined, dark corridors, environmental elements reminiscent of the series's roots.

The game's setting has also been officially confirmed, with the icy planet "Tau Volantis" acting as series protagonist Isaac's home away from home.

Survival horror is dead.

At least on consoles.

*sigh*

At least the first game was good.
Second game was good and the story is altered when playing solo so that it more horror than action. In co op scares don't work as well so it's more re5

2nd game was definitely good in its own capacity, but next to survival horror, it is pretty bad. It's evolved into action and I guess we just have to expect that.
