Atari and Codemasters will be bringing Emergency Mayhem™ as an exclusive for the Nintendo Wii in the second quarter of 2008, this action packed game combines chaotic driving sequences with arcade mini-games. Players will take control of three emergency services, police, fire and paramedics in a frantic race against time to hold together Crisis City. As the title suggests this game is mayhem with over 30 missions that have you rescuing people from burning buildings, defusing bombs and more.
Codemasters have wound up the humour in this game with the emergency situations being more of a slapstick nature, with you hurling bananas at out of control monkeys, heard penguins to safety with hilarious consequences and use a trampoline to bounce prisoners back into custody are to name just a few.
To keep the excitement factor up Emergency Mayhem has you constantly racing against the clock as you take charge of a fire truck, ambulance, or police car speeding to the next emergency. Time can be saved though if you take advantage of short cuts hidden throughout Crisis City, using underground railways lines and sewers to get you there on time.
Utilising the Wii Remotes unique motion sensing controls Emergency Mayhem makes you pump to practice CPR, point to direct water from a powerful hose, mimic a wrench to bring bursting water-hydrants under control and aim it to fire tranquilliser darts into on-the-rampage monkeys.
