Some of the most renowned game developers in the world have spoken out about Nintendo's upcoming console, Wii U.

Speaking in the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Yoshinori Ono and Hiroyuki Kobayashi of Capcom, and Suda 51 of Grasshopper Manufacture, among others, gave their thoughts on Nintendo's highly anticipated new gaming hardware.

Ono praised the console's television remote control capabilities as being its most convenient feature, while also expecting Miis to evolve dramatically.

Kobayashi was praising of the Miiverse online community feature, saying he'd like to consider something that makes use of the space.

Suda 51 said he acknowledges that there is a strong call for No More Heroes 3, but that there is not much else he can say about the console at this point.

Keiji Inafune of Comcept says he sees Wii U as a challenge from Nintendo, and that if he were given the chance, he'd like to respond to that challenge.

Wii U is expected to launch this holiday season, which starts in October.

I also expected something to happen with the Miis, but I guess keeping them simple is a way to say "this is our idea and we are sticking with it".
