Miiverse won't support Facebook or Twitter

Nintendo may be taking steps towards a social online experience with Miiverse, but it won't integrate with your modern social media outlets. GamesIndustry reports that Nintendo has confirmed that the Miiverse won't be compatible with Facebook or Twitter. However the Miiverse will become a social network of its own accord as users will be able to access it from their 3DS, smartphones and PCs.

On the Wii U we do have additional reasons for connecting, we talked about things like the video chat system, nothing revolutionary but it's going to be convenient, it's going to be easy. The community will be the Wii U owners, who will have this common interest for video games and our expectation about that is it's going to be a way to enhance the idea of sharing information on the video game." - Laurent Fischer, Nintendo Europe

A smart, easy and accessible interface with a possible 30-minute delay on communication. At least it's better than Nintendo's past efforts.

Miiverse won't support Facebook or Twitter

Great! :D
Makes sense. I would only want the Miiverse system to connect with other Wii U and 3ds users. Most of my facebook friends aren't gamers and wouldn't be interested in Nintendo related post apperaring on their pages. And I beleive Reggie also aready stated that communication would be near instantaneous.
lol Good. I don't want that shit in games.
This is good. Sif' it needs to!!

I didn't sign up to spotify because you had to sign in through FB. It's just annoying.
Good. I hate it when people spam this crap on facebook.

Nope (evil)
I hate it when this Matthew guy on Facebook spams all his photos on my newfeed all the time (evil)
cmon Nintendo, it would be cool for your twitter account to be linked to the MiiVerse, allowing achievements to be automatically tweeted, or so people know what game u have just started playing. in a way its a great way of free advertising for Nintendo, whether it would be for promoting hardware and software to followers who aren't on the Nintendo Network yet
Surely they could at least give people the option.

No! No spam in my news feed!
I think I would rather keep my facebook away from Miiverse anyway, I dont want it plastered to all my friends and my mother how much I fail or win at games! Random people can know though!

As for twitter, I dont really use that, Im kind of happy enough that they have this Nintendo Direct thing now!

If I'm able to access my social circle of Gamers from my Pc or Phone, then I will be happy!
