Nintendo wants 3DS to guide you around museums

Have you thought about entering the museum tour industry recently? Don't bother, because apparently Nintendo wants to make it its own.

After experimenting with a 3DS audio guide at the Louvre, Shigeru Miyamoto says that Nintendo is more serious about the self-guided tour software than anyone thought.

"One big thing I recently handled is the Audioguide Louvre - Nintendo 3DS, referred to earlier in this meeting," Miyamoto told investors. "This has not made money yet, but it has the potential to be one of our core businesses in the future."

He then clarified that it's an area Nintendo is exploring, but not one with any confirmed business plans at this stage.
