The highly anticipated and critically acclaimed The Last Story will be released in Europe on February 24, 2012, exclusively for Wii, Nintendo confirmed today.
The game is developed by Mistwalker, a studio founded by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi.
The game is well-known for its deep real-time battle system, which also implements third-person shooting and cover mechanics, elements not normally found in traditional JRPGs.
The Last Story follows the release of Xenoblade Chronicles, which is being readied for a North American release after a successful launch in PAL territories.
