Will Grand Theft Auto 5 be accompanied by an in-game GTA-themed TV program, perhaps one fuelled by user-generated content?
Two new trademarks have been registered by the folks at Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two, under the name of 'GTA TV' and 'Rockstar TV'.
They are described as, "Computer game programs and software; animated motion picture films featuring entertainment, namely, action, adventure, dramatic, comedic, children's and documentary themes; pre-recorded video discs and other pre-recorded digital and electronic media in the field of live action programs, motion pictures, or animation featuring entertainment, namely, action, adventure, dramatic, comedic, children's and documentary themes."
Maybe it's a lead-in promo web series to tie together plot points in the game? Or perhaps it's simply tying up the trademarks.
