Wii U is a 'powerful, powerful machine', hypes Gearbox

Wii U is a powerful machine, according to Aliens: Colonial Marines developer, Gearbox Software.

The game's producer, Brian Burleson, has joined a chorus of praise for the console from the Gearbox elite, saying it was "pretty easy" to get the game working on the console.

"The Wii U is a powerful, powerful machine and it can do a lot of cool new things," he said. "And so the game itself, moving it over to work on the Wii U was not much of a chore."

Wii U's "more modern tech" will allows the Colonial Marines version on the console to stand out above its Xbox 360 and PlayStation counterparts, although Burleson didn't elaborate on technical specifications for the console.

Nintendo is expected to showcase its new console at E3 next week.
