It's only a matter of time before EB Games opens up a Wii trade in deal for the Wii U -- although without games it'll be worth about $17 -- but don't rush into it if you want to keep your data and digital games.
GameStop in the US is already offering a trade-in deal, but warn customers not to rush in if they want to keep their data.
"Wii U owners can wirelessly transfer content such as Miis, and WiiWare and Virtual Console games to their Wii U systems. Both systems will need to be connected to the Internet and the Wii U will need an SD card to facilitate the transfer," says GameStop.
We suspect it's a very similar process to the 3DS to 3DS XL system transfer.
