The Q and A portion Of Nintendo's investor meeting came to a stop when Iwata punched a stock holder in the face.
The Stockholder first asked if Nintendo would make Smart phone games at all and Iwata Replied, “Nintendo has no plans to make any smartphone games for Android or Apple devices. I encourage you to take a look at the Nintendo 3DS which has many portable games.”
The Stockholder went on to mention that alot of companies are also doing microtransactions and Iwata replied saying, “That may be true, but it often comes at the expense of gameplay. As a former developer who worked on many hit titles, if Nintendo games started down this road, quality would surely suffer. However, the Wii U does allow games with microtransactions on its eShop.”
The Moderator went on to tell the stock holder that his time was up but went on to ask Iwata more questions.
Iwata didn't seem to mind when the stockholder said that his four year old daughter plays the Ipad more than handhelds Like the PS Vita And Nintendo 3DS To which Iwata Replied, “Once your daughter grows up, I’m sure she will learn to appreciate the complexity and depth of games like Kid Icarus: Uprising and Super Mario 3D Land that can not be replicated on smartphones.”
Iwata maintained his composure throughout the questing until the stockholder asked since nintendo don't make smartphone games they should become a third party company and make games for the PS3.
Iwata then charged the man punching him right in the face and making him bleed. Seurity then escorted both men.
The Q & A Still went on with other Nintendo employees answering the questions instead of Iwata.
The stockholder said afterwards that he is now investing in Zynga.
