Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto has excited us with talk of Metroid and Star Fox on the Wii U.
Speaking to IGN, Miyamoto said he was excited by the prospect of using the Wii U's tablet screen in a Metroid game.
"With Metroid it's very easy to imagine some interesting implementation for the Wii U," he said. "I think that having another screen with the gyro built in really gives you a lot of interesting opportunities for development, and we can bring a lot of our games to life in a completely unique way with that."
If that hasn't got you bouncing off the walls in anticipation, he also mentioned he would personally love to see a Star Fox game on Wii U, but had nothing further to say on the matter.
