THQ has announced uDraw Studio for Wii along with its bundled drawing tablet, the uDraw GameTablet. The Wii Remote will slot into the tablet, which allows you to draw your own creations and control the game in a new and interesting way.
uDraw Studio, like Wii Sports, showcases the drawing tablet's abilities and prepares you for future titles. Dood’s Big Adventure and uDraw GameTablet Pictionary were both announced to be released early next year.
THQ describes the tablet: The device is a small white handheld tablet with a 4" x 6" drawing space and detachable, pressure-sensitive stylus designed to offer more subtle control and precision than available on the traditional Wii Remote. The Wii Remote docks discretely within the uDrawGameTablet, allowing the device to draw power directly from the Wii Remote. A convenient storage area hides the Wii Remote wrist strap and stylus when not in use. The uDrawGameTablet also features tilt-and-roll movement options, allowing players to interact and control in-game characters by moving and directing them through game levels. Additionally, SD-card support enables players to save and print their artwork and other uDraw creations.
The uDraw GameTablet will be released in North America at the end of the year. There's currently no release window for Australia.
