Hidden object games are a popular choice for casual gamers, due to their simple and addictive quality. Presented with a list of objects, you search detailed environments to find them. Aha! I Found It! is the second of the genre available on Wiiware, the first being Mystery of Whiterock Castle.

Aha! I Found It! features a 4-player co-op mode. You start off with three stages – ninja fort, dressing room, and pirate cove which are all bright, colourful, cartoon environments sprinkled with heaps of objects. After finishing a stage, you’ll be rewarded with additional stages. The penalty for clicking on random parts of the screen without picking an object is -50 seconds from the off-screen timer – which is hardly important, as the timer is only used for scorekeeping.

Aha! I Found It! is a fairly standard hidden object game and did have a few problems which prevented me from having fun. In the Ninja Fort stage, Japanese named items are present with no explanation or picture of what they are. The items are also too small and you need to be right up against your screen to be able to tell what the tiny objects are – which was also a similar criticism to Mystery of Whiterock Castle. Only those with 40 inch TVs or above need apply.
