Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1 is based upon the movie of the same name and has players controlling Harry Potter through an adventure. With all new gameplay mechanics and an emphasis on stealth, supporting the new Microsoft Kinect device and much more it promises to be a spellbinding experience.
While the Kinect based challenges on the Xbox 360 version are handled nicely the rest of the gameplay is utterly woeful. The cover mechanics are broken, long and drawn out shooting scenes are uninspiring and the stealth missions are pointless. It's a shame because somewhere under all the problems Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1 had serious potential to be a great game.
